Where:

Conference Room
(Located on Chumstick Hwy)
When:
Wednesday January 14, 2009 7-9pm
Who and
Why:
The City
of Leavenworth is developing an Upper Valley Regional Trails Plan to
integrate existing trails and proposed trails into the Upper Wenatchee
Valley. The planning effort is made possible by a $50,000 State
Grant and is being led by a steering committee which represents various
recreational interests in the area. Some of the goals of this plan
are to enhance existing trails with new connecting trails, to increase
commuting options, and to connect more neighborhoods, residents, and
visitors with non-motorized travel and recreation options. The
target users for the trails include, but are not limited to:
pedestrians, bicyclists, equestrians, and cross-country skiers.
This meeting will present three options for our trials plan. We
need your help
choosing which one works best, so please come and help us decide.
Come be a part of the planning
effort and let your ideas be heard!
We hope to see you there!
