The City of Leavenworth’s Design Review Board is a volunteer citizen’s board developed for the purpose of preserving our City’s Old World Bavarian Theme and unique character.

The board currently has one regular position opening and one alternate position opening.

Members are selected without regard to political affiliation and are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council. Meetings are held on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month starting at 3:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Leavenworth City Hall with occasional special meetings as determined by the Chair.

Serving on the Board requires residing within the boundaries of the Cascade School District or being a resident of Chelan County and owning a business within the City. All members, prior to appointment, must demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of Bavarian design.
