Planning Commission
About Leavenworth’s Planning Commission
The Planning Commission is responsible for long range planning and legislative policy recommendations to the City Council. Members are appointed by the Mayor and must reside within the city limits or own property within the City or its Urban Growth Area. All members volunteer their time. In 2010, the Planning Commission will be working on the City’s Comprehensive Plan update, Park Plan update, and Critical Areas Ordinance update, along with miscellaneous Leavenworth Municipal Code revisions.
Planning Commission Meetings
The Planning Commission meets the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room at City Hall. Public hearings are held in the City Council Chambers.
